Sunday's Coming

Good morning,

We are back in Kerrville,Tx. We had a safe trip and it was good to see LaVon's mother. Thanks for your prayers.

Sunday we had the largest group in church since we have been here. God inspired me in a patriotic sermon.  My first point is for us to pray for our nation.

D.F.T.P.

He was Mr. Success and every man wanted his secret.  One day a friend found it.  Walking behind his desk he saw the letters; D.F.T.P. “What do they mean?” he asked.  “Dont forget to pray.” he answered.

The greatest power in the world is prayer. Satan’s chief concern is to keep Christians, like you  and me, from praying. Someone once said, “The Devil trembles, when he sees the weakest Christian on his knees.”

The New Living Bible translation James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous man has great power and wonderful results.”

Our forefathers CLAIMED this nation for God.

We need to RE-CLAIM it for God … AMEN?

It's like the sign on this mans desk; Don't Forget to pray!!!

LaVon and I are truly thankful to God for each of you. Thank you for your continual support and interest in our ministry by investing yourself in many ways as partners with us: by prayer, e-mails, phone calls and your financial gifts. Without any of these we could not continue what God has called us to do and that is to share the living water with the world through the RV ministry.

Have a great day, love you, pass it on.

Don

P.S. - Click on "a patriotic sermon" in the text above, or here, to hear the sermon.
There is not a U.S. flag in the chapel, so this young man came forward, with the flag on his t-shirt, so we could pledge allegiance to the flag together Sunday morning in church.  What a tremendous example  this young man set for his children that he was spending the weekend camping with.  He brought them to church and he stepped forward before everyone present... not ashamed of his God; not ashamed of his Country.  We had a tremendous time of worship.
