Good morning again from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
We will be here visiting daughter and family for a week then on to Texas.
Todays Bible Thought:
Decision*
A company was hiring new staff. One question in the written exam was:
You are driving your car in a wild stormy night. You pass by a bus station, and you see three people waiting for the bus: an old lady who looks as if she is about to die, a doctor who had once saved your life, a man/woman you have been dreaming to be with. You can only take one passenger in your car.Which one will you choose? Please explain your answer.
Think about it before you continue reading.
This must be some kind of personality test. Every answer has its reasoning.
You could pick up the old lady. She is going to die, and thus you should save her first.
You could take the doctor, because he once saved your life. This will be the perfect chance to pay him back.
However, you could always pay the doctor back in the future, but you may never be able to find the perfect love once you pass this chance.
The candidate who was eventually hired (out of 200 applicants) did not have to explain his answer.
WHAT DID HE SAY?
He simply answered: "Give the car key to the doctor. Let him take the old lady to the hospital. I will stay and wait for the bus with the man/woman of my dreams."
Sometimes, we would gain more if we were able to give up our stubborn limitations.
Conclusion:
I once heard this said about Christianity in America…
“American Christians no longer desire to be fishers of men, but have resigned themselves to be keepers of the aquarium…”
What a sad, sad commentary on the outlook of Christianity in our country.
There are many churches who are on fire for the Lord and growing, but for every growing church there are 10 churches that are dead or dying.
We need an attitude like this young man in the story and look for the best for all instead of just for ourseves.
We need be fishers of men.

LaVon and I are truly thankful to God for each of you and thank you for your continual support and interest in our ministry by giving in many ways, by prayer, e-mails, phone calls and your financial gifts. Without any of these we could not continue what God has called us to do and that is to share the living water with the world through the RV ministry.
Have a great day, love you, pass it on.

Well, I missed that one! I would have picked up the old lady. But the winner sure had the right idea... a win/win for everyone! Especially for him! :-)
The above comment is LaVon's!!
I missed it also, I was just wondering about the whole thing when I read the answer, that guy was pretty smart!!
