Sunday's Coming

Good morning,
We are in Pharr, Texas. We had our third Sunday service last week and it went pretty well. I think I am catching on to the way they want the service to go but, keep us in your prayers.
Todays Bible Thought :
Luke 17:11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.12And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed15And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,16And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.17And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
Only one of the ten decided to go back and give thanks, and he was a Samaritan. The Jews looked down on the Samaritans, yet it was a Samaritan who came back to give thanks.
How like us it is to forget to give thanks. We are so quick to ask for God's help. But we also need to remember to give Him praise when He comes through for us. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I urge each of you to look back and remember the requests you have made to the Lord and how He answered them. I also urge you with a thankful and grateful heart to say thank you for each of them.
May you have a Blessed day! Happy Thanksgiving!
LaVon and I are truly thankful to God for each of you. Thank you for your continual support and interest in our ministry by investing yourself in many ways as partners with us: by prayer, e-mails, phone calls and your financial gifts. Without any of these we could not continue what God has called us to do and that is to share the living water with the world through the RV ministry.
Have a great day, love you, pass it on.

Sunday's Coming

Good morning , we are in Pharr, Texas. This is our winter "assignment" here at the Tip O'Texas RV Resort and we will be here until the end of April, God willing.  We had our first Sunday service last week and it went pretty well.  They do a lot of things that will take us a little time to adjust to them. We had a good turn out and in most part, they were glad we are here. Keep us in your prayers.
Todays Bible Thought (from Seeds From The Sower):
Learn to Write in the Sand*

Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument; and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: “Today my best friend slapped me in the face.”

They kept on walking, until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: “Today my best friend saved my life.”

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “after I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?”

The friend replied “when someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your blessings in stone.

Matthew 18:21 - 23 (KJV) 21Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. 23Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

LaVon and I are truly thankful to God for each of you, and you can etch that in stone!

Good morning,
We are in Pharr, Texas. It has been extremely windy and warm. I have to ask, “God are you sure this is where you want us?” Then I remember James 1:1-4. I know through it all, He will be glorified and I will have peace and joy.
Todays Bible Thought (from Seeds From The Sower):
It seems as though everyone is experiencing dificult days and troubling times.
Recently a father wept as he said,” My son lost everything and I wasn't able to help him!”
When we face feelings of fear and frustation, when threats overtake us, when we sense our limitation, we need to remember God's promises.”
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble.” PS. 46:1
Praise God He is our refuge in times of trouble so He can keep us in our difficult times. What a great God we serve!
LaVon and I are truly thankful to God for each of you, thank you for your continual support and interest in our ministry by giving in many ways, by prayer, e-mails, phone calls and your financial gifts. Without any of these we could not continue what God has called us to do and that is to share the living water with the world through the RV ministry.

Have a great day, love you, pass it on.
