Good morning again,
We are busy and God is at work around us. We started a prayer group meeting in our house 3 weeks ago. We had 3 people the first meeting then the next we had 8 but, yesterday there was 13 people in our little house!
Praise the Lord!
We have seen God answer prayers right away.
One of our prayers: We are helping a small church in an under privilaged area raise money to send their youth to camp this summer and my prayer is that we step up, as a church body, and give.
Keep us in your prayers as we continue doing what the Lord leads us to do.
Also, pray for our summer as we are going back to Norman, Oklahoma for the summer to be with our mothers for a bit, and my prayer is that I will be able to preach somewhere while we are there.
Thanks again for your support, prayers and phone calls. You just can't immagine how encouraging those are for us.

Sunday's Coming
Good morning again,
It is that time already. I pray you are well. I pray you enjoy the devotional below as much as I did.
We started prayer groups two weeks ago that meet at 10am on Tuesday mornings. We had 8 in our house and a great dayBefore, the day was over, God had already answered a major prayer for this park. May God continue to hear us and answer our prayers and do a great work in this park.

HAVE YOU SHARPENED YOUR AXE?
A young man approached the foreman of a logging crew and asked for a job.
"That depends," replied the foreman. "Let's see you fell this tree."
The young man stepped forward and skillfully felled a great tree. Impressed, the foreman exclaimed, "You can start Monday."
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday rolled by. Thursday afternoon the foreman approached the young man and said, "You can pick up your paycheck on the way out today."
Startled, the young man replied, "I thought you paid on Friday."
"Normally we do," said the foreman. "But we're letting you go today because you've fallen behind. Our daily felling charts show that you've dropped from first place on Monday to last place today."
"But I'm a hard worker," the young man objected. "I arrive first, leave last and even have worked through my coffee breaks!"
The foreman, sensing the young man's integrity, thought for a minute and then asked, "Have you been sharpening your axe?"
The young man replied, "No sir, I've been working too hard to take time for that!"
Our lives are like that. We sometimes get so busy that we don't take time to "sharpen the ax."
In today's world, it seems that everyone is busier than ever but less happy than ever. Why is that? Could it be that we have forgotten how to stay sharp?
There's nothing wrong with activity and hard work. But God doesn't want us to get so busy that we neglect the truly important things in life, like taking time to pray, to read and study scripture or to listen to "the still small voice of God." We all need time to relax, to think and meditate, to learn and grow.
If we don't take time to sharpen the axe, we will become dull and lose our effectiveness. Take time today to sharpen your axe!

Sunday's Coming
Good morning from Arizona once again,
LaVon and I are busy but the work is very rewarding. We had a great Sunday even if I wasn't feeling good. God always gives me just enough strengh to make it through the service. I preached on encouragement the importance of encouraging others.
Your emails and phone calls are an encouragement to me. Thanks! Please keep them coming.

Hidden Treasures
And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name" (Isaiah 45:3, NLT).
Did you know there are treasures hidden on the inside of you? There are gifts, talents, and abilities inside of you that you don’t even know about.
Oftentimes, it's during seasons of difficulty or darkness that those hidden treasures are revealed to us. When we go through times of adversity, strength arises, new abilities arise, new talents. We are "reinvented" so to speak.
If you are going through a difficulty today, if you lost your job or a loved one, remember, God still has a purpose for you. He'll take what the enemy meant for evil, and He’ll turn it around for your good.
Keep standing, keep believing, keep hoping because He's ready to reveal those hidden treasures on the inside of you!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You with an open and humble heart. Let Your Word sink deep into my Spirit. I trust You and look for the hidden treasures You have deposited on the inside of me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Sunday's Coming
Good morning,
I pray this finds you well. We have had another busy but rewarding week here in Arizona. Thanks again for keeping us in your prayers. I did receive a couple of phone calls and emails this ... they sure encourage me to continue the work the Lord has led us to. You don't know what your calls and emails do for us.
Yesterday someone sent me an email on hunger with pictures of children so skinny you could see their bones. Then I came upon this devotional below. It brought home a tremendous message and got me thinking: How important is God's Word to us? We eat everyday. Do we read and study God's word every day? I preached Sunday and encouraged us to "go and tell" but to do that we need to be in God's Word first. Ask Him where and who to visit.
I pray this devotional touches you as it did me. My prayer is that God will use this today in our lives.

Hunger for the Word of God
“I rejoice at Thy Word.” Psalm 119:162
Job said, “I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food” (Job 23:12).
When God’s Word is as important to you as your physical food, then you’re going to start to grow in your Christian life.
I wonder if one day the dust on our Bibles is not going to testify against us. The following poetic lines sober my heart: “These hath God married and no man shall part, dust on the Bible and drought on the heart.”
Oh, that we would hunger for the Word of God!
Fast from one meal today. Sense just a touch of the hunger our hearts are to have for the Word of God, and remember to pray for those who need the pure milk of His Word!

Heaven and Hell
A holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, 'Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.'
The Lord led the holy man to two doors.
He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man's mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished.. They were holding spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell.'
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one. There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man's mouth water. The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, 'I don't understand.'
It is simple,' said the Lord.
'It requires but one skill. You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.'

Sunday Is Coming
Good morning,
We are down to our last few days here in Coffeyville and the aproaching weather tells me it is none to soon. We may have to alter our plans: the stay in tulsa will be cut short, probably leaving there Monday after we go by the RV dealer for a few repairs.
I urge you to keep us in your prayers as we travel.
Thanks for all you do for us to keep us on the road doing what we know God has called us to do. I wish we could sit and tell you just how He has used us in so many peoples lives.
My prayer for today is for 25 caring, loving people to come along side us with a $25 a month donation that would take care of our needs. If you feel God telling you to give, then send to the address in the menu to the right and if you need a tax deduction make check out to CRM Int'l.

A Light in the Darkness

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned. - Isaiah 9:2
This prophecy of the coming Messiah brought a sense of hope to people living in dark, difficult times. At times, we’ve all sensed the reality of living in a dark world. The hope of the prophecy was fulfilled in Jesus, who said, “I am the light of the world.” (See also Matthew 4:12-16.)
Through Jesus, we can live our lives in the light of His love, peace, and truth.
“In Him was life, and that life was the light of men…The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world.” John 1:4, 8

Sunday's Coming
Good morning,
I pray all is well with you. LaVon and I are doing great; the people here just love us and make us feel needed.
We took up a collection to help two families give gifts to the nursing home: a great sucess.
Thursday, I have a meeting with several pastors to tell them about CRM and our free medical clinic; to see if there is any interest in starting one here.
Our time is fast coming to an end. We are leaving on the 14th after church and going to Tulsa for a few days. We will spend that time with Stephanie and family and get some waranty work done on our RV. The 17th we will go to Norman for a few days, leave the 22nd for Waco, Texas, then off to Arizona.
Thanks for your prayers and your financial support; without you we couldn't do this. We will have to pay for our site in Arizona which will be about $400 a month.
